PhilHealth Konsulta Caravan @ NORMI

Cabadbaran City – The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth-Caraga) pulled off its Konsulta Caravan on June 19 to 21, 2025, at the Northern Mindanao Colleges, Inc. (NORMI) Main Campus, making quality healthcare services more accessible to the community. The three-day activity ended with a thrilling PhilHealth KonSulTakbo "KonSulTakbo Alay sa Kabataan" on its last day, with the Leg 6 5km and 7km Community Run encouraging participants towards healthy and well living.

PhilHealth Konsulta Caravan: Taking Healthcare to the People

Free medical check-ups, health screenings, and PhilHealth membership enrollment and renewal were offered at the Konsulta Caravan to hundreds of beneficiaries. In coordination with local health workers, the activity included the following services:

•          Free check-up
•          PhilHealth membership and benefit queries

Citizens from all over Cabadbaran City and surrounding areas trooped in to the NORMI campus in order to take advantage of these facilities, showing how vital accessible medical services are to the community.

KonSulTakbo: A Run for Health and Youth Empowerment

The caravan finale was the PhilHealth KonSulTakbo "KonSulTakbo Alay sa Kabataan", a community run to encourage an active lifestyle and spread awareness for PhilHealth's programs for children and families. The event consisted of two race categories: 5km and 7km Run.

A Commitment to Health and Community Engagement

PhilHealth Regional Office officials underscored the significance of such activities in making quality healthcare accessible to all Filipinos, particularly the poor. Not only did the Konsulta Caravan and KonSulTakbo offer timely medical intervention, but it also promoted long-term health awareness through exercise.

Northern Mindanao Colleges, Inc. thanked the organizers for selecting the institution as the venue, reaffirming its dedication to supporting public health programs.

Looking Ahead

With the success of the caravan and fun run this year, PhilHealth is looking to expand its outreach programs, bringing more health services and wellness activities to other cities and provinces of Caraga.
